Kindergarten’s Teacher and MTV SWAG

Hi, blogger. I went to EF yesterday for some English Course. And suddenly I realized that I’ve studied at EF for 4 years! Oh my god, I should quit, don’t you think? So, anyway, one of my EF’s teacher asked the class a simple question.

“Who is our most important teacher of our life?”

And I was thinking of my professor (when I got into college) or (ridiculously) books. But, no one really answered the question because we all asked to ourselves. Who is that person?
Then, my teacher answered it.

“It’s simple. Your kindergarten’s teacher,”

And I was thinking for 10 seconds. Why should our kindergarten’s teacher is the most important teacher of our life? Then he explained the reason and I thought, wow, I’ve never thought it in that way. Okay, maybe you guys starting confused what I am talking right know.

So, according to him, our kindergarten’s teacher have a big deal of our life. And I really really agree with him. How so? Just think about it. When you’re in kindergarten, your teacher taught to you to:
-wash your hands before you eat
-not hit the others
-apology if you made mistake
-take a nap

do you get it? it’s really amazing. Our kindergarten’s teacher taught us the basic of life. wash your hands before you eat. they wanted us to take care of ourselves when we are grown up, right? And with wash your hand, you’re avoiding bacteria get into our body which means we’re healthier. The basic idea is, our teacher told us that nothing is more important of our health.
how many people forget to wash their hands before they eat? honestly, I do, sometimes.

second one, don’t hit the other. they taught us to not fight with the other. violence is the worst way to finish a problem. look, nowadays, people fight. people in the war. they must forget the precious lesson from their teacher. and the third one is apology if you made a mistake.

people hardly to say sorry, nowadays. they don’t forgive each other and take revenge to each other. how sad. and the last one is take a nap. do you ever take a nap and then when you wake up you feel that you can solve any problems? that’s why our little teacher taught us to take a nap. if you have a problem, you should rest. and trust me, when you’re awake, you’ll have a lot of new ideas to solve the problems.

well, I think those four precious lessons is very important. I won’t forget about that anymore. And while I heard my EF’s teacher explained the reasons of his answer, suddenly I remember my pre-school and kindergarten. It was so much fun. Especially when we baked cookies and Halloween Party. I miss those moments so bad.

And.. change topic!
I won MTV SWAG and got Twilight Goodie Bag! Hahahaha..
I am so happy.. the merchandise arrived in Indonesia yesterday. I got:

Reason Why I Don’t Really Like Sports

Hi, blogger. It’s been a very long time, right? I was pretty busy back then since school has finally started. I just want to share my story during my PE class last Monday. Hahahaa, maybe you’ve known from the title, PE is not my favorite subject. It doesn’t mean I hate do sport. Actually, I love it. But, I’m not good at it. Okay, actually I am bad at sport.

And beside that, sometimes I got intimidate with my classmates who are good at sports. Not physically, of course. Sometimes I just feel that the others are so cool, so good at sport and I am so bad. Yeah, I am a less confident, sometimes. But, really, I love sport. I did jumping rope last summer to get taller. I do Aikido too. But when it’s time to do the sport at school, wew, I always messed up.

Like last Monday. Since my PE Lesson is once a week which is every Monday, I was glad when my teacher told us that that day we will play baseball. It’s been a long time since the last time I played baseball. As you know or predicted, I am not really good at this one too. I like when I have to catch the ball with those gloves, but I don’t really like the idea that I have to strike the ball with the bat. Maybe because of that all Twilight stuff last month, I got a tiny confident that I can play baseball too.

So, after 20-minutes practicing by ourselves, my teacher started to call our name alphabetically. He wanted us to strike the ball with the bat 5 times so he can took the score. By the way, in my school, we use a tripod to hold the ball. And a plastic pipe (like 15 cm long) on the top. When my name was called, I went in front, and prepared to strike. When my teacher blew the whistle, I took a deep breathe and try to imagine someone that annoys me so bad, so I can strike it properly.

1, 2, 3!

BRAKK!!

krek.

“Aww,” I grinned softly. And then I started realized what I have done when there was like a  pain stabbed my left arm. I did strike the ball (but not high) but I hit the tripod so hard. I can’t move my arms at all. I definitely striked the ball on the wrong position. And the bat was a little bit heavy too for my size.

The tripod falled into the ground and the plastic pipe was torned apart. I am not kidding. It really did. And I must finished 4 strikes before I can go back to my class. My left arm was really hurt. So I gave up trying to be strong and called my teacher.

“Sir, I think I can’t do the rest. My left arm is really hurt. I think I got a wrong position back then,” I said while holding my left-arm-which-can’t-moved-at-all.

My teacher gave me an expression Hilda-you-should-be-more-careful and started to see my left arm. And he tried to treat it. And thanks, the pain started to disappear.

So, after a minute of being infront of my classmates (who would injured herself during the PE class, by the way?) I can did the rest and joined the others to catch the ball with the gloves. But, my left arm still hurt.. until now. It’s been 3 days. Hahahaha, so stupid I injured myself that day. But I really hope my left arm will remain well soon. It’s kinda uncomfortable, you know, having the left arm but still in pain.

I injured myself during my PE class on my high school. I hope I won’t get injured anymore for the rest of my high school year hahaha..
