Well, Time To Say Goodbye To 2009!

Hi to all bloggers out there! It’s me. I know I haven’t updated quite a while but I hope it’s okay. You know, tomorrow is New Year. Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010!

By the time like this, usually I always doing that resolution thingy. I get used to it quite often so I guess I’ll make one this year. But, to begin with, I want to have a quick flashback of what I’ve done in 2009. Just the highlights of the year, though, because if I wrote down all the great stuffs I did this year, you’d bored.

1. I made my very first video clip. I know it’s part of the school project, but it was so much fun. The best thing is I get a great opportunity to learn how to edit the video too. And I know that making movie is one of my passions. You can read my post about it here, or even watch the video clip here.

2. First time I got a surprise from my friends! Believe me; I’d never got a surprise before so I am glad when my friends made it. Thank you so much, guys! =)

3. I went to Japan. Japan! I loved Japan and it was really great and stuff. Maybe my trip was the best part of 2009. You can read about it here.

4.   I don’t know how but I think 2009 is one of my lucky years. I won prizes like 6 times this year. And I think it’s totally cool. Wish I’ll have the same luck (or even more) in 2010.

I want to know if I fulfill my last year resolution. So I copy pasted my last year resolution. Here it is.

1. I HAVE TO improve my grades. Really. -> Well, my grades were not really bad in early of year.

2. Buy a new camera digital and learn more about photography. -> At the end I don’t think buying a new camera had anything to do with my willingness to learn photography. In fact, my dad got a plenty of cameras at home.

3. Learn more of making a film (a short film, of course). -> YES, I DID! =)

4. Go and explore a new city to get more inspiration for my stories (I’m lack of ideas recently, no, for a year actually and I really know why). -> Went to Japan this year! And got home with some brilliant ideas!

5. Preparing for my TOEFL and AS Level Examination, for sure. -> I didn’t take TOEFL this year; maybe next year?

Well, it’s pretty good, I think. I wish I could do my next year resolution better. And to close today’s post, here’s my 2010 resolution:

1. Make another short movie or video clip.

2. Get into university (well, I’ll totally miss high school!)

3. Explore another new country, it must be fun!

4. Just be better me (lame resolution I know) but I really mean it. Follow my heart and do what I think is the right to do; not the best to do. It makes difference.

5. Wish I won’t screw up too much on my studies.

Happy New Year Everybody! Happy New Year 2010! =)

Do You Think You Are Too Old For Amusement Park?

Hi, blogger! Finally, I can post new post again. The exam season is over (at least for awhile), I even already got my report card. Well, it’s okay, actually, even though it’s not really satisfying me, but I am glad I make it up.

About last week, me and my classmates (well, not all my classmates) went to Dufan. Dufan is an amusement park that we have in Jakarta. I know Disneyland is way better, but the thing is, I love amusement park.

I ride some of rides like Kora-kora, Ontang-anting, Rumah Miring, Perang Bintang, The Duck, Merry Go Round and Flying Elephant. I know, I ride some kid’s rides but I don’t care. All I wanted to do back then was having fun with my friends.

In fact, Dufan was so full that almost every rides had a very long queue. Too bad Istana Boneka and Halilintar closed. I love ride on Istana Boneka. I know it’s a little bit creepy inside, but it felt a bit strange going to Dufan but not going in Istana Boneka.

Then I ride on Duck and Merry Go Round. It’s fun. We had my teacher ride on Merry Go Round too!

We were there from 11 am until 6 pm. It was tiring but fun. But at the end of the day, one of my classmate, Angie, got ill and fever. She just came back from Bandung, she must be too tired. Fortunately, she’s already healthy right now :)

I always love amusement park. You know, there always is a happy feeling when we go to such park. Even though it was a sunny day and we all get sweat and tired, but we were having fun. And maybe we really need it before we have to hit those thick books for National Exam and Entrance Exam.

Okay then, since tomorrow is the first day of end of year holiday, I am going to be on vacation with my family! This is what I need: holiday! Yay! Thanks for reading. Bye bye and see ya’!
